Redd Iron Inc.

Redd Iron Inc. was founded on April 1st 1998 we started with a combined 9000 sq. ft. of shop and office space. After our first three years of business, in 2001, we increased our foot print to 15,000 sq. ft. of shop space and built an office building of 2500 sq. ft. In the beginning of 2014 we are proud to announce another addition to house our second structural saw and CNC beam line. We have doubled our structural steel capabilities and continue to include steel joist, metal deck, stairs, rails and all miscellaneous metals for a complete turnkey product.

Redd Iron Inc. is a family owned and operated organization; with over a 100 yrs of combined experience of key personnel. Beginning with Owner and C.E.O. Brian J. Atkins, he began in the steel industry in 1968 and holds associates degree in applied sciences (structural steel). Brian has several years’ experience in steel joist and deck with a talent for design and value engineering. Together with his wife Mary L. Atkins (retired) who has had a large influence in what Redd Iron is today, have molded a successful well rounded steel fabrication facility for our customers.

Brian’s eldest son David Atkins,  President, has been working side by side with Brian in the steel industry since 1985. Currently he oversees all aspects of the business and continues to keep a hand on the manufacturing and scheduling of the fabrication plant.

Mary Schlener, VP of Finance, has been with Redd Iron Inc. since 1999. She has grown to be an intricate part of the business and helped bring us into the new age by leaps and bounds. Mary oversees and manages all the financial facets and operations of Redd Iron Inc.

Jarred Schlener, VP of Operations, Brian’s son in law joined the Redd Iron Family in 2000. Jarred started in estimating and has since moved to project management, and continues today to VP both departments. This completes the family circle at Redd Iron Inc.
